Kahoot! Makes Learning Fun!
Objective: This workshop will highlight the use of the online game Kahoot! as a method of formative assessment.
Description: Are you looking for ways to integrate technology to help maximize student achievement? Then come to our two hour workshop on Kahoot! As an added bonus to increasing student engagement, you can also gain immediate and meaningful data through this formative assessment tool.
Steve Chamberlain will facilitate the playing of the game with workshop members. Alyssa Shelters will then teach participants how to edit one of the millions of available published games to match the standards being assessed. Suzie Kubik will end the workshop by showing participants the valuable data that can be used to measure student success. The best part…students think playing is FUN!

Advice for Implementation: Kahoot! already has so many existing games so you can jump right in and use this fun tool. You can even edit existing games to maximize time efficiency.
