Self-Care for YOU!

Objective: Participants will be reminded of the importance of self-care and participate in guided activities related to mindfulness.

Description: Self-care will be discussed as it relates specifically to this time of year. The importance of nurturing one's self to avoid exhaustion and burn out will be discussed. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in activities to practice mindfulness. Self-care is essential in allowing us to maintain energy, motivation, and creativity to work with our students effectively. When used with students, is has helped students to focus and to feel calm.
