MPS Hosted Websites
Level: Novice to Intermediate
Objective: To familiarize the staff with the options available for classroom websites hosted by the Middleborough Public Schools.
Description: Having a website for students and families to access fast is almost becoming an expectation, now it is as easy as 1-2-3. Creating and maintaining a website hosted by the Middleborough Public Schools is fast and easy. Making changes is also easy and I will demonstrate just how easy this can be for you too.
Students and parents are able to access materials that I add to the site, which can be changed in a matter of minutes. With absences an issue for me, I have been able to upload a PowerPoint that the students access for their lesson when I am out. The ease of making changes and the variety of page types makes this a must have.
Advice for Implementation: This is something that can be a work in progress. Simply get the shell of what you envision up and you can add to it as time permits. Because this is easy to use, it takes very little time to make adjustments.
